Brothers, Troy and Travis Means own and operate HomeCrafters 

Travis Means

Brothers, Troy and Travis Means own and operate HomeCrafters in Reno, Nevada. They are sons to Alan Means, developer of Caughlin Ranch, grandsons to Jack Means, structural engineer and great grandsons to late Perry Means, architect. Four generations of experience means quality.

Prior to starting HomeCrafters, Troy acquired his experience in the home building industry with two of the largest locally owned builders in Northern Nevada. His duties include plan review, budget management, bidding/ estimating, scheduling and sales/marketing management. He has a B.S. in Business Administration and Real Estate Development from U.S.C. and is a Past-President of the Builder’s Association of Northern Nevada.

Travis gained his working knowledge in the San Francisco Bay area for HathawayDinwiddie Construction, giving him high tech and biotech construction expertise. His duties involve field supervision, scheduling, budget management, bidding/estimating and plan review. Travis is a past president of the Builders Association of Northern Nevada. He holds a B.S. in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.
